- Extreme heat (such as hot tubs, hot showers, saunas, etc.) and intense exercise for 24 hours
- Excessive alcohol or sodium consumption for three days, as this can cause excess swelling

Who Should Not Get KYBELLA®?
If you have had or will undergo any type of facial surgery or are pregnant or breastfeeding, KYBELLA may not be a suitable treatment for you. At your consultation, we will review your medical and health history and other relevant factors to determine whether or not you qualify for KYBELLA.
How Long Does KYBELLA® Last?
KYBELLA provides a permanent reduction of fat beneath the chin. Your submental fat cells eliminated with this injectable will be gone from your body for good.
By the time we’re in our 30s, most people’s bodies don’t grow new fat cells. Weight fluctuations can cause the existing fat cells in any area to increase in size, but the number of fat cells generally remains the same.
It is the growth of the existing fat cells that makes one area look fuller than another. This means it will be difficult to regain fullness beneath your chin after KYBELLA since you will have significantly fewer fat cells in that area.
